Here are two images from the early years of Wabeno.
The links (sent to me by Gene K. a classmate) to these images are still available on the internet, however the host pages for those links are no longer available.
Consequently I have chosen to republish these images for others that ever lived in Wabeno. I grew up in Wabeno and went to grammar and high school there.
These images are much like the town was in the 40′s, wooden sidewalks, hitching posts, taverns, and etc.
