I am a 70+ year old anarchist-conservative-liberal and depending on the topic I may be anywhere on the compass. So don’t be surprised and for sure don’t always expect where I might stand on a topic. Well, except for the topic of superstition. In that case I am very much an atheist. I do not believe in demons, devils, angels, gods, spirits, etc. and I am perpetually astonished that otherwise intelligent people think I am wrong about this. Consequently, that part of my personality may find its way into any topic.
Why Knot My Line?I grew up in the 40′s in northern Wisconsin. It was there that I learned to enjoy nature’s wonders. Some of the most peaceful and happy times of my youth were when I was sitting on the edge of a lake or out in a little row boat dangling a fishing rod over the edge. It didn’t really matter what size or kind of fish I caught, or even how many I caught. But no matter where I fished or how I fished, it was inevitable that I would get a knot in my line and then have to spend valuable fishing time to untangle the knot. Hence my favorite nickname.
